Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lejur One collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use our website, web application, mobile application, support workflows, and AI-connected features.
1. Information We Collect
We collect account details such as name, email address, phone number, company details, role, plan, billing and onboarding information.
When you use Lejur One, we process accounting data that you or your team enter, import, upload, approve, or generate. This may include ledgers, vouchers, invoices, bills, GST and TDS details, inventory records, parties, attachments, reports, audit logs, support tickets, screenshots, and usage metadata.
In the Lejur One mobile app, camera access is used only when you choose to capture invoice or bill images for voucher attachment and Magic Extract workflows. Photo-library access is used only when you choose an existing invoice or bill image from your device. These images are processed as business documents for the company workspace you select.
Microphone access is used only when you choose voice-driven voucher or navigation workflows in the mobile app.
We also collect technical data such as device type, browser, IP address, session identifiers, security events, mobile app activity, error logs, and integration connection metadata.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide accounting, GST, inventory, reporting, approval, mobile, support, billing, security, and AI-connected features.
We use operational and diagnostic data to prevent abuse, maintain single-session controls on web, troubleshoot errors, improve performance, handle support requests, and protect user accounts.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to improve product quality, reliability, and business insights. We do not sell your business accounting data.
3. AI Connectivity and External AI Tools
Lejur One may let authorized users connect company data to AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GPT-4o, Perplexity, or similar services through controlled read-only integrations, OAuth-style authorization, MCP, OpenAPI, or other supported bridges.
AI integrations are intended to help users ask questions about reports, vouchers, balances, anomalies, and financial summaries. They are not a substitute for professional accounting, audit, tax, legal, or financial advice.
When you authorize an AI connection, selected company data may be transmitted to the relevant AI provider for processing the request. The provider's own privacy, security, retention, and model-use terms may apply. You should only connect AI tools that your organization is comfortable using.
Lejur One aims to keep AI access scoped, read-only where applicable, and revocable. Users remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before relying on them.
4. Data Hosting, Security, and Access
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including authentication controls, role-based access, auditability, and secure cloud infrastructure.
Where available, product data is hosted on infrastructure selected for Indian business use, including India-region hosting where configured. Some third-party processors, email providers, payment providers, analytics tools, support systems, or AI tools may process data in other locations depending on their service architecture.
No internet-based system is completely risk free. You are responsible for maintaining secure passwords, protecting mobile devices, managing user access, and removing users who should no longer access a company.
5. Sharing and Processors
We share information only as needed to provide the service, comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, process support tickets, process payments, host the application, maintain infrastructure, or support integrations that you authorize.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, regulatory request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Lejur One, users, or third parties.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting record requirements, resolve disputes, enforce terms, maintain backups, and comply with applicable law.
Company owners or authorized admins may request export, correction, or deletion where supported. Some records may be retained if required for audit, compliance, security, billing, tax, dispute, or legal reasons.
7. User Choices
You can update account and company information inside the product where controls are available. You can revoke supported AI or external integrations, manage team access, and contact support for assistance.
You may request help with account access, data correction, deletion, export, or privacy questions by using the support options provided in the application or website.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Lejur One evolves. Material updates may be communicated through the website, product, email, or other reasonable notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
